Obituary of Jacob Swartz

Jacob M. Swartz, 22, of Kingston, formerly of Center Valley, died Tues. May 9th at his home. 

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Matthew (Colleen) Swartz of Quakertown and Denise (Jacob Cole) Haney of Center Valley.

Surviving with his parents are his brothers, Kyle Swartz of Center Valley and Samuel Swartz of Quakertown; sister, Reagan Swartz, of Quakertown; paternal grandparents, Roger Swartz and Susan Swartz; maternal grandparents, Brenda Sandt and Larry Schmoyer.

Services will be held 8:00 PM Thurs. May 18th at Naugle Funeral and Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown.  A calling will precede the service from 7:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in Jacob’s name can be made to The Center for Humanistic Change - Hope Program for Heroin and Opioid Prevention Education, 100A Cascade Dr., Allentown, PA 18109.

Donations made in memoriam of Jacob Swartz, will go directly to the Center's Heroin and Opioid Prevention Education Program (H.O.P.E.).  Through H.O.P.E. our highly trained staff educates local community members of the signs and dangers of heroin and opioid use and misuse.  H.O.P.E. was developed in response to the growing concern around the heroin and opioid epidemic in Lehigh County and throughout the state of Pennsylvania. By participating in the program, teaching professionals, administrators, and students will be able to identify:

Where to Go for Help
